I've been cruising for years, and I thought I knew what to expect from a scenic itinerary. But nothing prepared me for the Norwegian fjords. August turned out to be the perfect time for this journey. The weather was cooperative, the daylight seemed endless, and the fjords were alive with color and movement. I was traveling with friends who are like family, and sharing those moments of wonder made them even more meaningful. We'd gather on deck as the ship glided through narrow passages, collectively speechless at what we were seeing.
